Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your GoudGigs account and the personal data attached to it at any time. This page explains how to make the request, what we delete, and what we are required to keep.

How to request deletion

Email privacy@goudgigs.com from the address you use to sign in, with the subject Account deletion request.

Sending it from your sign-in address is how we confirm the request is yours. If you no longer have access to that mailbox, write from any address and tell us the email the account uses — we will verify it another way before deleting anything.

We confirm every request by email and complete it within 30 days.

What we delete

• Your sign-in credentials and account record.
• Your profile: name, email, phone, addresses, company details, hourly rate and portfolio description.
• Your tax and payment details, including the Social Security Number or EIN held for your W-9, bank account and routing numbers, and PayPal or mailing-address payment preferences.
• Your saved signature, company logo, and uploaded files and receipts.
• Your device push token, and your notification and SMS preferences.
• Draft invoices and any gig invitation you have not acted on.

What we keep, and why

Some records are not ours alone to erase. When you sign an agreement or issue an invoice, the other party holds a copy of that transaction and may need it for their own tax and legal obligations.

• Signed agreements — Service Agreements and NDAs you countersigned, kept for the term the contract and applicable law require.
• Issued invoices and their payment records — kept as accounting records, typically seven years under U.S. tax rules.
• Completed tax forms — W-9 forms already furnished to a producer, kept for the retention period the IRS requires.

We keep these records for those purposes only. They are not used to contact you or to rebuild your account, and they are deleted once the retention period ends.
